Having spent a number of years working in a cross-cultural setting, and being involved in training overseas workers for almost ten years, Tony has a wealth of experience to bring to this area of training. His continued involvement in ministry in countries like Singapore and Malaysia means that he is also aware of the impact of culture upon Christian workers. He has an on-going involvement and interest in member care issues, and serves as Pastoral Care Person for Mission Aviation Fellowship in their Africa Region.

Tony has led ‘Preparing for Change’, a 3 week long orientation programme held at Bawtry Hall, for a number of years, working with agencies like Mission Aviation Fellowship (Europe), Emmanuel International and Action Partners Ministries. His own expertise is in teaching issues such as:

Since 1993 Tony has been involved in helping overseas workers re-adjust to life in Britain. Only those who have been through the process themselves can appreciate what it is really like to feel a stranger in one’s own culture. Bible Studies for Short-term Mission
A series of 15 studies designed to help short-term teams make the most of their time abroad is available for purchase by churches, mission organizations or individuals. The cost is £25 and includes permission to use the material as many times as you wish and to adapt it to your own needs.
Living in Community
A series of 5 interactive Bible studies for teams who live and work closely together in cross-cultural settings. Available on request for £10 with permission to photocopy and use as you wish.
